Tell us which committees you would like to participate in:

1 The Pre-Cursillo committee focuses on activities that occur before the Weekend, reviewing sponsor and candidate applications, creating and presenting the Cursillo Basic Seminar which is the orientation and launch day for the Weekend teams, and educating sponsors through putting on sponsor workshops.

2 The Weekend committee concentrates on the Weekends. Activities include updating the procedures manuals and coordinating with Rector/Rectoras and Head Cooks for their orientation. And writing and distributing Fourth Day packets that are given to the new Cursillistas.

3 The Fourth Day committee insures that Cursillistas have opportunities to gather and communicate with one another, which includes planning and supporting Ultreyas, small group reunions and the "Reunion Tuesday", which is held within two weeks after the Weekends.

4 The Leadership committee is comprised of the Rectors/Rectoras of the past three years, insuring a continuous rotation system and a constant source of new input. It recruits Rector/Rectoras to recommend to the Secretariat for approval, and it provides guidance for upcoming Rectors and Rectoras as needed.

5 The Church Representatives committee solicits new Church Reps and keeps active a network that supports Marin Cursillo. Representative keep their communities informed and express and represent the will of their community.

6 The Communications committee relays information to the appropriate person(s) within each local church for dissemination as well as communicates directly to all Marin Cursillo members through newsletters, e-mails and any other means appropriate.

7 The Finance committee leads fundraising activities and provides recommendations to the Secretariat for all matters financial in nature.

The Core committee is comprised of the Marin Secretariat officers, Spiritual Director, chairs of the above working committees, the General Secretariat Liaison and the Rector/Rectora of the upcoming weekend. The Secretariat meetings are every first Monday of the month at 7:15 pm in St Anselm’s School Library, 40 Belle Ave, San Anselmo
